Why do we want to stay here?

Firstly on a purely practical level, we only bought our apartment 18 months ago and renovated it, so we definitely don’t want to go through the entire trauma of moving so soon.

We looked long and hard for about 6 months before finally deciding upon Clementi Park. We of course had our wish list. Things we had to have, things we would like, and things we would put up with or deal with. And to be quite frank, Clementi Park ticked all the boxes. Great quiet location, large compound, greenery in abundance plus all the amenities of a condominium. What more could we wish for? I do hear some say, that’s it’s an old building. Well, in England, where we originally come from, a 20 year old property is considered normal, indeed, a youngster in building terms! So for us it just wasn’t a problem. Any internal problems like leaks; we just dealt with – no big drama!

As for worrying about if there is enough money in the sinking fund to pay for the upkeep, possible future major leaks, problems with lifts and other so called ‘disasters’ etc. We don’t deal in rumours and made the effort to ask the management the questions. Result, yes there’s enough! Also, major disasters are covered by insurance. Nice to know lah!!!
